I am back at last having had a few months away from the workshop and computer. I have now got to catch up on some work as my MA has started again (though a bit later than I originally thought).
I have been back in the workshop for a couple of weeks and completed a couple of new pieces the pictures will be posted shortly. I am now trying to finish my paperwork side ready for submission next week. The only thing left then is to write my Dissertation or book as I have chosen to do. Not a lot then.
Welcome to my blog. I am a metal artist that specialises in copper wall art with natural patina colouring. Using only hand tools and traditional methods in forming the copper, I create unique pieces. - Coppersmith and full time student at the University of Lincoln. Completed a BA (Hons) Contemporary Decorative Crafts in 2008 and finishing an MA in Design in September 2010. I would like to combine this with building up my career as a designer/maker in Metal Art and some lecturing in the future.
