Welcome to my blog. I am a metal artist that specialises in copper wall art with natural patina colouring. Using only hand tools and traditional methods in forming the copper, I create unique pieces. I also produce sterling silver jewellery incorporating my patina copper work. - Coppersmith and full time student at the University of Lincoln. Completed a BA (Hons) Contemporary Decorative Crafts in 2008 and finishing an MA in Design in September 2010. I would like to combine this with building up my career as a designer/maker in Metal Art and some lecturing in the future.

Time Off !!!
I decided to take a week or so off my work to catch up on other things that have been neglected over the past year. These included painting the garden fence, shed and my new workshop and also landscaping the garden. Now all of that is completed it will be time to start on painting the main rooms in the house. So much for a relaxing break. I am back in the workshop this week though to prepare myself and my work ready for New Designers in London next week and to make some more items for Harding House Gallery Exhibition (26/7 - 30/8). I think it will be more of a chill out for me being in there than trying to relax elsewhere. I must say I have managed to read a couple of books over the past week or so, novels instead of academic for a change. Here's to hopefully some commissions or placements from contacts I make next week.
