Welcome to my blog. I am a metal artist that specialises in copper wall art with natural patina colouring. Using only hand tools and traditional methods in forming the copper, I create unique pieces. I also produce sterling silver jewellery incorporating my patina copper work. - Coppersmith and full time student at the University of Lincoln. Completed a BA (Hons) Contemporary Decorative Crafts in 2008 and finishing an MA in Design in September 2010. I would like to combine this with building up my career as a designer/maker in Metal Art and some lecturing in the future.

New Designers London July 2008
I found out today that I have been selected by the University of Lincoln to attend the New Designers Exhibition in London the first week in July. It is a great honour and a career boost to show my work there. My tutors have selected 3 or 4 pieces they want me to take that encompass all of my skills and show the varying depths I can reach with my patinas. I thought I had a few weeks break before starting research for my MA but now things look like they are picking up again. At least i have 2 weeks in Turkey in August to recharge my batteries.
