After spending the past 4 days in my workshop I have finally finished all my pieces for the exhibition. They are bubble wrapped and ready to go. For the next few days I am in University painting the plinths that have been made for us by our furniture guys, only fair they build and we paint. Luckily after missing the sunshine over the weekend we now get to work outside so starting off the tan for the summer, if we have one that is.
Still need to find some white velvet for displaying my jewellery on, thats where Mum's come in handy!! Don't you Mum.
Welcome to my blog. I am a metal artist that specialises in copper wall art with natural patina colouring. Using only hand tools and traditional methods in forming the copper, I create unique pieces. I also produce sterling silver jewellery incorporating my patina copper work. If you like my work and want something just that bit different please contact me for commissioning details of bespoke pieces. Contact me by email at dmj8@me.com
