I have just spend two days writing evaluations for two of my units. I also completed my design portfolio and files ready for marking. Well that's what I thought a few weeks ago as well and like normal I found either things that I hadn't done or just wanted to add more. I will be glad when it is all handed in so I can't do any more. Three weeks to go for that though!!
Looking forward to having the summer off to do what I want, as last summer I had the bright idea of spending it all researching and completing my dissertation. Well I did hand it in 4 months early but on the other hand for missing the summer I managed to free up valuable workshop time over the autumn/winter, so OK it did have some benefits.
I sometimes wish I wasn't so organised it does annoy me that I find it hard to relax and do nothing, I always have to be on the go!!!!
Well here's to another week in the workshop trying to finish some pieces worthy of the exhibition.
Welcome to my blog. I am a metal artist that specialises in copper wall art with natural patina colouring. Using only hand tools and traditional methods in forming the copper, I create unique pieces. I also produce sterling silver jewellery incorporating my patina copper work. If you like my work and want something just that bit different please contact me for commissioning details of bespoke pieces. Contact me by email at dmj8@me.com
