Well it's full steam ahead at the moment producing pieces of work worthy of being in our end of degree exhibition.
I am putting in full days in the workshop and for a change having so many new creative thoughts it's scary. I am having to sketch all of these ideas with added notes so I can come back to them later in the year.
I think I have two or three pieces ready, well almost ready, but I would really like to produce another, if I have the time. The inclination and energy are there but there never seems to be enough days in the week let alone hours in a day!
Welcome to my blog. I am a metal artist that specialises in copper wall art with natural patina colouring. Using only hand tools and traditional methods in forming the copper, I create unique pieces. I also produce sterling silver jewellery incorporating my patina copper work. If you like my work and want something just that bit different please contact me for commissioning details of bespoke pieces. Contact me by email at dmj8@me.com
